Table Tennis or Ping-pong

It’s the same thing… This sport, which originated in Britain, has become an international sport. Its rise

has been greater in China, hence the name “Ping-Pong” which comes from the sound of the ball on the table.

Followers of this sport are called “pongistes*”.

Since 2019, the Municipality of Bury has 2 tables, 8 rackets and 50 balls.

Getting started with this activity is easy and fun.

We are looking for players who would like to practice this free activity.

New schedules are being studied to allow a greater number of people to come and play.

The Monday schedule would remain unchanged from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in

the Victoria Room of the Multifunctional Centre.

The Wednesday schedule will be removed (not enough participants)

The Friday schedule would be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. instead of 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
