Financial Aid for the Municipality’s Young Athletes

ICE SPORTS

Bury youth who want to join the figure skating organization and youth from the minor hockey association must register in East Angus and are subject to a non-resident fee.

So the municipality reimburses 50% of the registration fee and ice time with a maximum of $400 per participant. The refund is only related to the registrations of the two East-Angus associations.

To obtain the refund, you have to present to the municipal office your invoice.

SPORTS

The municipality reimburses the costs of the registration of a youth in a sports activity, once a year on presentation of the receipt. Here are the criteria to respect in order to obtain the refund.

  • The fees are paid to an organization in the Eastern Townships ;
  • Official receipts are provided by the youth’s parent or guardian;
  • The youth remained in the Municipality of Bury during at least 80% of the fiscal year;
  • The maximum repayment is $ 60.00 per youth per fiscal year.

The attendants are present Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.
